Advanced Camera Setup for Panasonic cameras

Camera Setup for Panasonic cameras

ND Filter - neutral density filter (it allows less light to enter the camera)

Interior and exterior - use ND filter when going outside, if you've been filming inside (most commonly moving from darker to lighter)

Zoom control (use ring) - manual not servo.

Servo use Rocker 'T' &'W'

Focus (Use Ring)

Focal length (metres)

Iris (switch to manual)

Different levels for the iris e.g. f-stop

If the f stop number is small the iris is large and open e.g. f2.4
I the f stop number is large the iris is small and closed e.g. f22

f8 and be there - f8 is the average setting

Gain - amplifying video (use gain if its dark however do not use ideally, try and use lights)

If you use Gain for a dark image it amplifies it but it becomes grainy

W.B. (White balance) - On Panasonic cameras you can store more than one white balance setting, e.g. store 'A' setting and 'B' setting

Audio - Channel volume - set channel 1 to INT (internal) Mic and Chanel 2  to MIC (Directional microphone)

Turn Zebra On - it shows highlights of bright areas of the image. Guide to whites being too white.
