Timecode
Time-code for TV. There are 25 frames per second for standard TV in UK. P.A.L. - phase alternating line 25fps - there are 2 fields per frame. Therefore there 50 fields per second. Time-code for shoot: H M S F 01:00:00:00 01 02 ... 24 Ends at 24 because the frame starts at 0. Then it goes to 1 second etc. Time of day for 1 day shoot and synchronise the camera's to this time. Example: 18:52:00:00 - Jam Sync - all the camera's start recording at this time. Several Camera's - same time-code 3x SD cards - label them: A,B,C Decide before shoot what each camera is doing e.g. framing etc - wide shot, close up etc Summary...
